MEMIC Promotes Torrey to Production Underwriter

PORTLAND, ME, January 8, 2018 – To support continued growth within the Connecticut market, workers' compensation specialist The MEMIC Group has announced the promotion of Ian Torrey to the position of Production Underwriter.

Torrey, a native of Hartford, Connecticut, joined The MEMIC Group in 2015 as an Account Analyst and was promoted to Associate Underwriter in 2016. He has earned his Workers’ Compensation Professional (WCP®) designation and is working towards completion of his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriting (CPCU) designation. Torrey graduated from the University of Maine in Orono with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics.
