PORTLAND, Maine, July 15, 2016 – To support growth in the South Carolina market, workers' compensation specialist The MEMIC Group has announced the appointment of Lynn Trowbridge to Senior Production Underwriter.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Lynn has held positions as a Commercial Lines Senior Underwriter and a Field Specialist with Liberty Mutual Insurance and a Territory Manager at W.R. Berkley Corporation for South Carolina, Western North Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina before joining MEMIC. Lynn graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Buffalo in New York and has earned her Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) and Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) designations.

Active in the insurance community, Lynn has volunteered on the board of the Professional Insurance Agents of South Carolina for the last 2 years. Originally from Syracuse, New York, Lynn has spent the past decade in the Carolinas and currently lives in Waxhaw, North Carolina with her husband and two children.
