MEMIC Launches New MEMIC.com with Multilingual Resources
PORTLAND, ME, February 12, 2018 – The MEMIC Group has launched the redesigned MEMIC.com website to address the needs of an increasingly diverse workforce in Maine and across the country. Founded 25 years ago with the mission of improving Maine’s economy through workplace safety and the best workers’ compensation insurance products, MEMIC has grown its operations the breadth and length of the Eastern Seaboard serving an evermore diverse range of employers and employees in both urban and rural settings. As MEMIC has grown, so too has the diversity of the people it serves.
The redesigned MEMIC.com has addressed this diversity by making multilingual resources available to injured workers. Those injured on the job will be able to navigate MEMIC’s resources to aid their recovery and return to work in Spanish, French, Creole and English. In addition, the new MEMIC.com is designed to be ADA compliant, improving access for people who have difficulty viewing, hearing or interacting with website content.
