Megan Vernon brings six years of experience in workplace safety and risk management to her role as Loss Control Consultant II.

Megan began her career at MEMIC as a Loss Control Consultant, where she built a strong foundation in workplace safety. She later served as a Health and Safety Content Specialist at Safesite and an Operations Specialist at Foresight Commercial Insurance. Her background spans both insurance and safety technology, giving her a practical, collaborative approach to helping businesses identify risks, improve safety practices, and support effective operations.

Megan holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Southern Maine and has earned the Workers' Compensation Professional (WCP®) designation.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys reading and spending time with her family, especially while exploring Maine’s coastline.
