People have come up with creative, though not always appropriate, forms of transporting and securing cargo. This webinar will take a hands-on look at compliance with laws pertaining to load securement, strategies to secure different types of cargo, and safe working practices around loading motor vehicles of all shapes and sizes.

As a result of this training, you will learn how to:

  • Become aware of the hazards created when loading and securing equipment in or on a vehicle.
  • Understand the concepts of proper load restraint for commercial and commuter vehicles.
  • Become familiar with regulations pertaining to cargo transport.

This webinar will be moderated by MEMIC's Loss Control Manager of Digital Technology, Peter Koch. Our presenters, Barrett Parks and Dan Thibeault, have more than 20 years' experience helping manage load securement exposures within construction, property management, agricultural, and trucking industries.
