MSHA 8-Hour Refresher Training
As part of MSHA's 30 CFR Part 46 training regulations, all sand and gravel pit workers must have an 8-hour safety course once a year. As a result of this one day course, participants will have the ability to:
- Identify key hazards associated with changing conditions at open pit mines.
- Describe methods to protect workers from noise and dust exposure.
- Demonstrate the ability to recognize hazards related to open pit mining.
- Give examples of methods to eliminate or minimize hazards related to open pit mining.
