Leadership Training: Integrating Safety With Business Goals
Front-line managers are often so focused on productivity that personnel safety suffers. Safety becomes a separate issue within the organization and does not get the priority it needs. Studies show that a well-integrated safety culture improves quality and productivity as well as saves money. Are your supervisors and managers ready to implement the behaviors necessary to integrate a safety culture into your workplace? This educational program is designed to guide participants through a series of progressive principles which will challenge and inspire them to take action to integrate safety performance with the business goals of the organization.
This program will also reinforce the effective knowledge, skills, and attitudes already developed and practiced. As a result of this half-day course, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate techniques to integrate safety with business goals and eliminate barriers to performance.
- Practice the leadership and people management skills of a front-line supervisor.
- Relate previously acquired front-line supervisor’s managerial skills and attitudes to current learning.
- Coordinate executive management’s safety goals with those of front line supervisors.
